Easy Pay Direct

Accept credit card payments by connecting Easy Pay Direct to your marketplace.

You can process your payments by integrating with an existing Easy Pay Direct account. Please read through this entire article to set up your integration, turn on the correct settings, and begin taking payments.

Integrating SamCart With Easy Pay Direct

  • Click into your Marketplace Settings by clicking the Settings tab in your left-hand marketplace navigation bar. On the next page click the Processors tab, and then click + Add New.

  • Select Easy Pay Direct from the popup window.
  • You will see the following pop up:
    Label Your Processor - this is an internal name that will is used to describe your processor
    Easy Pay Direct Gateway Username - the username the merchant uses to login to their Easy Pay Direct account.
    Easy Pay Direct Gateway ID - to access your Gateway ID for Easy Pay Direct, follow these quick steps:

In your Easy Pay Direct Merchant Account go to the Home page and click on the Settings option and then click on Account Information

At the top of the page, copy the Gateway ID

Public Key - to access your Public Key for Easy Pay Direct follow these quick steps:

In the Easy Pay Direct Merchant Account go to the Home page and click on the Settings option and then click on Security Keys

Towards the bottom of the page, click “Add a new Public Key”

In following pop-up

  1. Enter a name for the key
  2. Select a user in your Easy Pay Direct Merchant Account to tie the key to
  3. Assign the “Tokenization” key permission.

Private Key - to access your Public Key for Easy Pay Direct follow these quick steps:

In the Easy Pay Direct Merchant Account go to the Home page and click on the Settings option and then click on Security Keys

At the top of the page, click “Add a New Private Key”

In the following pop-up:

  1. Enter a name for the key
  2. Select a user in your Easy Pay Direct Merchant Account to tie the key to
  3. Select the “API” key permission option

After entering in the Easy Pay Direct Credentials in the SamCart pop-up, you will need to sign in to your Easy Pay Direct account and add the Webhook Signing Key & Subscribe to Events to successfully complete the integration.

To do so, follow these quick steps: 

  • In the Easy Pay Direct Merchant Account go to the Home page and click on the Settings option and then click on Webhooks
  • Under Endpoints click on the Create button
  • In the URL Field, add the SamCart webhook endpoint: https://www.samcart.com/easypaydirect/event
  • Under “Available Events” subscribe to transaction.void.success and transaction.refund.success

Your Webhooks page should look similar to the following:


You can now begin accepting credit/debit card payments on your product pages with Easy Pay Direct!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How can I test Easy Pay Direct?

A: To run a test order on your product pages with Easy Pay Direct, you will need to first switch your product page to Test Mode by toggling the page mode button to Test and then clicking Save Changes: Once in Test Mode, you can run a test order using the sample credit card credentials:

Card Number: 4111111111111111

Expiration Date: 10/25

CVV:  Any 3 digit number

Q: Does Easy Pay Direct support Digital Wallets?

A: At this time Easy Pay Direct supports Google Pay! It is important to note that digital wallets are restricted by browser and customers will only be able to checkout using Google Pay in Google Chrome browsers.

Q: If I cancel my SamCart account, will my subscriptions continue to charge?

A: Your customer charges for recurring and limited subscriptions would stop right away upon the cancellation of your SamCart account.
