Using the "/" command

Using the “/” Command in Typeset

The “/” command is one of the quickest ways to add components and enhance your slides in Typeset. It allows you to browse, search, and insert visual or content elements directly into your project without leaving your workspace.

How to Use the “/” Command

  1. On a new line within your slide, type a forward slash ( / ).

  2. A component browser modal will appear, displaying all available components that you can add to your slide.

  3. Begin typing additional letters or keywords to filter the list — the options will automatically update based on your input.

  4. Once you find the desired component, press Enter to insert it into your slide.

This workflow allows you to quickly explore all the creative tools available inside Typeset, from charts and images to text blocks and design elements.

Example: Adding a Line Chart

You can add a line chart to your slide in several ways using the “/” command:

  • Option 1: Type / and scroll through the list until you find Line Chart, then press Enter.

  • Option 2: Type /chart to filter the list to chart-related components, then select Line Chart.

  • Option 3: Type /line to narrow the results directly to Line Chart, then press Enter.

Each method achieves the same result — choose the one that feels most natural for your workflow.
