Deliver Your Digital Files With SamCart
Once you have created a digital product within SamCart, attaching a digital file to deliver when customers purchase the product is easy!
Open the Products tab and open the digital product you want to attach the file to, then click on the Digital tab.
On the Digital tab you will see several settings for your digital file. Select whether you would like to upload a digital file directly to SamCart, or provide your own download link to your customer.
When you're done, click Save Changes at the top of the page. That's it, you're done! Your customers will now receive this digital file or link when they purchase the pro
Adding a Digital File Created With Typeset
If you created your eBook (or other digital file) with Typeset, SamCart's AI powered eBook builder, you can easily download your eBook from Typeset and quickly upload it to your SamCart product!
To do this, head over Typeset and click on the document that you'd like to sell. If you have the SamCart bundle with Typeset included, you can access Typeset by clicking the Design tab at the top of your SamCart dashboard. If you have a Typeset account separate from your SamCart account, you will need to log into Typeset to access the documents you've created.
Once in your document, click on the Export button on the right side of the page. 
This will bring up some options on the right side of the page for your export. Choose what kind of file you would like to export the document as in the Export As section (PDF, Image or Powerpoint - for eBooks, we recommend PDF), the Orientation you'd like your document (Portrait or Landscape) and the Size you want your export to be (Letter or A4). 
Once you have made the desired selections, click the Export Selected button to download your document to your device. You will see the Export Selected button switch to "Started Download..." and you will see a "Preparing to download PDF" message at the bottom of the screen, as shown below.
Once the download is complete, you will see the document in your downloads on your device.
After downloading your document, you are ready to upload it to your product! Head over to the Products tab within your SamCart marketplace and click on the product that you would like to attach this digital file to.
From there, the steps are exactly the same as adding any other digital product! Head back up to the top of this article and follow the steps in the "Deliver Your Digital Files With SamCart" to complete this process and add your Typeset document to your product, so that your customers will receive the Typeset document upon purchase.
Customer Download Links
When your customers purchase this product, they will be given a download link in two different spots:
- The SamCart Order Summary Page, which can be shown right after they complete their order. More info on this here.
- Their Order Receipt, which is emailed to the customer right after they complete their order.

A: If you upload files directly to SamCart, you can only upload files up to 1 Gigabyte in size. But, you can always upload larger files to a file sharing service like Dropbox or Google Share, and then provide your own download link.

A: While EPUB is not a supported file type for uploading to SamCart directly, you can still provide a link to an external site where your EPUB file is available for download. We've seen authors use sites such as bookfunnel.com for this. You would upload your E-Book there and use the download URL they provide as a Thank You Page URL here on SamCart. Once someone buys, they'll go straight to the bookfunnel download page which will allow your customer to download an E-Reader compatible file!
