Automatically enroll students into your Kajabi courses, with new SamCart Integration Rules.

Are you using Kajabi to deliver digital products to your customers?

Well now you can automatically enroll your customers into Kajabi courses immediately after they complete their purchase! 

You can even automatically remove their access if a customer decides it isn't right for them so your customers always have access to exactly what they need, and all of your content is perfectly protected. 

1: Integrate With Kajabi

First things first, head into your SamCart Marketplace Settings (towards the top right hand corner of your dashboard) and click on Integrations.

Then click on the New Integration button, select Kajabi from the dropdown menu and enter the following info to complete your integration:

  • Integration Name (ex: My Kajabi Account)
  • Kajabi API Key
  • Kajabi API Secret

Your Kajabi API Key and API Secret can be found inside of your Kajabi account, under Account Settings, then Account Details.

Click Save Integration to connect SamCart with Kajabi.

2: Create Your Integration Rules

Now that Samcart is "connect" to Kabaji, you'll need to establish simple rules that tell the Integration Engine what to do when certain actions take place in your SamCart Marketplace. 

Head over to your Product and click into the Integrations tab (1), then click New Rule (2).

First, you’ll need to decide what action you want to perform on your integration. An action is the functionality available in an Integration you are connected to. In the Integration dropdown, select your connected Integration you'd like to set up a rule for. Then select the Integration specific Action. 

Once you have your Integration and Action selected, click on Next Step.

Next, you’ll need to select a trigger. A trigger is the event inside of your SamCart Marketplace that tells the Integration Engine it’s time to make something happen in a connected application. 

In the first dropdown on the second step, you will want to select either eCommerce or Courses. eCommerce rules will apply to actions on your product pages, while Courses triggers will be anything related to the Courses app. The available triggers in the dropdown will be specific to the selected integration. In this example, we’ll use the Product Purchased trigger as it’s the most common. 

Select Product Purchased from the drop-down menu and click Next Step:

NOTE: Each application has different Actions available. The following are available on [BLANK] Integration

  • Product Purchased - fires when a product is purchased as a primary product, upsell, order bump, or payment option.

  • Product Refunded - fires when a refund occurs inside of SamCart for the product.

  • Product Partially Refunded - fires when a partial refund occurs inside of SamCart for the product.

  • Subscription Canceled - fires when the Subscription Status turns to "Canceled” or "Delinquent."

  • Subscription Charged - fires each time your customer completes a successful recurring charge.

  • Subscription Charge Failed - fires when your customer experiences their first recurring payment failure.

  • Subscription Delinquent - fires when the Subscription Status turns to "delinquent." Delinquency occurs after 4 failed payments in a row. See more information on the Subscription Saver and Dunning feature here.

  • Subscription Recovered - fires when your customer is within the Dunning Cycle and has a successful charge.

  • Subscription Restarted - fires when you manually restart a user's subscription from either the fully delinquent status or canceled status.

  • Subscription Started - fires when your customer's subscription starts.

  • Subscription Charge Refunded - fires when you refund your customer for their purchased product.

  • Subscription Charge Partially Refunded - fires when you partially refund your customer for their purchased product.

  • Upsell Purchased - fires when an Upsell is added by the customer to the purchase.

You can now go into any SamCart product, and create your own Integration Rules that automatically grant or revoke Kajabi offers for your customers.

Go to the Products tab, and select any product. 

Then select the Integrations tab, scroll to the Integrations area, and click on New Rule.

From there, you will select your Integration and choose an Action: Grant Offer or Revoke Offer.

Next, you will choose eCommerce and then select a Trigger. In this example, we'll use the Product Purchased trigger as it's the most common.

Once you have selected your Trigger, you will select your Offer ID (these are created within Kajabi) and hit Submit!

Now your new Integration Rule is live! In the example below, any customer who purchases this product will be automatically granted access to the Kajabi Offer I chose from the dropdown. 

3: Automate Your Course Membership

Repeat this process to create as many rules as you need! Use multiple rules when the product is purchased to grant access to more than one offer. Create new rules to revoke access if your product is refunded.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do my customers receive their login information?

A: After being granted an offer in Kajabi, your customers will receive an email from your Kajabi account containing their username and password. 

That email will always be sent to the same email your customer used to place their order in SamCart.

Q: What if I do not my Kajabi Offer in the dropdown menu?

A: Easy peezy. When selecting your Offer from the dropdown menu, click the Refresh button, and SamCart will ping Kajabi and pull in all the latest offers you have created in your account.

Q: Can my customers manage their billing inside of Kajabi?

A: No, all billing is still handled inside of SamCart. Any updating credit cards, purchasing more products, cancelling a subscription, etc. is all done from SamCart.

Q: Can I create multiple rules at a time?

A: Absolutely. You can create as many rules as you need, on all of your SamCart products.

Q: The Offer ID I want to select is not appearing. What do I do?

A: Please ensure that you have an order tied to the Order ID inside Kajabi! Once you create the order, it should populate your Order ID.

Q: When creating a rule, I do not see my tag or list. What do I do?

A: This is due to integrations only showing some of your tags to help it load faster! If you start typing in the name of the tag/list then it'll appear. If you are still not seeing your tags/lists, you might need to “Refresh” the connection to your integration.
